Our Work Process

The first step in the 2-step stretch blow moulding process is to produce a preform, which is a small plastic tube-shaped object that will be stretched and blown into the final container shape. Once the preforms have been produced, they are transferred to a stretch blow moulding machine, where they are stretched and blown into the final container shape. The stretch blow moulding process involves the following steps: 

Preheating

The preforms are heated to a temperature just below the melting point of the plastic to make it more pliable and easier to stretch.

Stretching

The heated preforms are then transferred to the stretch blow moulding machine, where they are clamped in place and stretched lengthwise. This stretching process orients the molecular chains of the plastic and improves its strength and clarity. 

Blowing

Once the preform has been stretched to the desired length, a blow moulding rod is inserted into the preform, and high-pressure air is blown into the preform to inflate it to the final container shape. 

Cooling

After the container has been blown, it is allowed to cool and harden in the mould. Once it has cooled, the mould is opened, and the finished container is ejected from the machine.
